Location & Outline
This Ashikaga tour was designed for cycling for about 21.6kms (about 11.4miles) ride. Ashikaga city prospered as a town of textile industry, and there are many historic spots such as Ashikaga Academy, the first Japanese academy, Bannaji Temple. They are scattered around the city. Old warehouses and elegant building are along with the central stone paved street. Such an atmosphere comforts visitors souls. It is not only delightful to visit famous tourist attractions such as temples and shrines but also to visit hidden off-street attractions. This tour visits Ashikaga Academy, Bannaji Temple, Orihime Jinja Shrine, then after 10kms cycling, visits the Kurita Porcelain Musium, and the Ashikaga Flower Park which was introduced by CNN as one of the "Dream Destination of 2014" at the season of wisteria.

How to get there
Take the Express Ryomo #3 from Tokyo, Asakusa Station of the Tobu Line (7:40). It arrives Ashikagasi Station at 8:52.
Pay attention - This train will be suspended on Saturday and holiday.
Please find another train on that day.
